Description

A long exposure was worth it...

when I decided on this object, I suspected that there should be our Milky Way dust and Ha in the end. I was right, already after 1.5 hours of luminance I saw light dust bands. The decision to expose NGC 7789 in the following clear nights was the right one in my eyes. At that time, the moon appeared in the second half of the night. Therefore, I was able to collect the necessary LRGB data in the first half of the night to show you at first this LRGB picture. At around 1.6 billion years, this one is already unusually old. The old age of the cluster can be deduced from the development stage of the stars. Caroline's Rose includes many red giants, so this beautiful star cluster appears in the warm orange-red light. The impression of such star fields with all the differently shining stars fascinates me every time.

I hope you also enjoy this cluster... stay well and clear skies.
